Yes, the Country Fair was quite involved. They had a choice of various things to display and produce to show their knowledge of the country (he did the model, a replica flag, a picture collage--behind him, a map--to the right, a timeline of British history, and various reports).
Heh, that's pretty cool. He looks quite pleased with his finished product :)

When I was still teaching, these were the types of units/projects that I loved to see the kids work on ... their excitement and creativity was always so exciting for me to see. That is some 3-d of Stonehenge!
He looks so proud. My daughter recently attempted the same thing, but with dominoes, oh, and she was 19.

Stonehenge always reminds me of a favorite book of mine, Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles.
