Hoppin' Into the Weekend

It's Friday and that means it's time for the Book Blogger Hop sponsored by Crazy-For-Books. It's a time to talk about books and blogging and to venture out on the internet and visit other blogs. Hop on the link to participate.

I'm back in the Hop groove. This week's Hop subject is: Tell us about one of your posts from this week and give us the link so we can read it (review or otherwise).

I'm always up for way to push my vintage mysteries. I've opted for my review of The Leavenworth Case by Anna Katherine Green. This mystery is one of the first full-length mystery novels by a woman--published 9 years before The Study in Scarlet by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle!

I'm always looking for mysteries to read. This sounds very interesting and very cool that she's something of a trail blazer in the mystery genre. I'm a new follower!

The Leavenworth Case definitely sounds like something I should check out. Thanks for a great recommendation.

The Post Is:

This week I reviewed a work of suspense fiction that is such a wide departure from the thriller genre that I feel everyone – fans and foes of the genre alike – really should investigate.

Hop on over to my blog and see for yourself –
