MY READER'S BLOCK: February Virtual Mount TBR Reviews

SCAM artist alert

Apparently there is someone calling themself "Luigi Calloway" out there who is claiming to be associated with the Mount TBR Reading Challenge. He is contacting authors and telling them if they pay him, then their books will be used for the challenge. It's possible he's also telling people they must pay to participate in any way. Please know that there is absolutely no charge associated in any way with this reading challenge and that this person does not represent me or anything associated with my blog. There will NEVER be a reason for anyone to have to pay for participation in any way for any of my challenges. If only people who exert this much time and effort on scamming people would put it into something worthwhile....like reading their own books!

February Virtual Mount TBR Reviews

Unknown said...: I just realized that I haven't updated my reading statuses for this challenge, so I figured I would do that today. I'll post the reviews of books I read during these months.

One of the two books I read during February was The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis.

This was actually a really good book. A lot of the Narnia movie actually makes a lot more sense now. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this book. I was kind of skeptical about listening to it, especially at the beginning.

The other book I read during February was So You Wanna Talk About Race by Ijeoma Oluo. This wasn't a bad book. It was kind of interesting. It was definitely informative and helped to make sense of the things going on today.
