Is there a best order in which to read them?

Level 1 Homemaker: I don't know that it makes any difference. I've just been reading them in the order that I find them in used bookstores or the library and have enjoyed them as they came. It didn't seem to matter what order I found them in. (I'm a real-book-in-the-hand kind of girl myself, so I won't be taking advantage of the e-books).

Oh this is great news, Bev. I was just reading Les Blatt's review of a Hildegarde Withers mystery and promising myself to get my hands on one.

Well, having it to read on my computer is not exactly getting my hands on one, but close enough. Thanks for the tip!
