Birthday Month Challenge

Birthday Month Reading Challenge

Hosted by Lois at You, Me, & a Cup of Tea

  • How this challenge works is that each month you read a book by an author who has his or her birthday in that month. So for example in December you could read a book by Jane Austen because her birthday is December 16th and in July you could read a book by J.K. Rowling because her birthday is July 31st. So you will end up reading twelve books all together for this challenge.
For full details, please click on the link above.

Here are my tentative plans:

January: Mother Finds a Body by Gypsy Rose Lee [DOB: Jan. 9, 1911] (1/12/15)
January: Alpha 2 by Robert Silverberg (ed) [DOB: Jan. 15, 1935] (1/18/5)

Lois: I'm trying very hard to read almost entirely from my personal TBR stacks...so I wanted to make sure I actually had authors on hand that would work for all the birthday months. :-)

Will you be hosting the Mountain TBR challenge again in 2015? :D

Irene: Yes, I will. I'm currently trying to get my computer to cooperate with me on updating all my challenge buttons. Hopefully, I'll have the new challenge posts up soon.

I'm not familiar with the authors on your list but I'm intrigued. Will check them out on goodreads.
Good luck.
