MizB of Should Be Reading hosts Teaser Tuesdays. Anyone can play along. Just do the following:
*Grab your current read.*Open to a random page.
*Share two "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page.
Here's mine from The Master of Ballantrae by Robert Louis Stevenson (p 30):
We were very careful, by destroying every member of those crews we overhauled, to leave no evidence as to our own persons; but the appearance of the Sarah herself we could not keep private; and above all of late, since she had been foul, and we had pursued many ships without success, it was plain that her description had been often published.

*BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! You don't want to ruin the book for others.
*Share the title and author too, so other TT participants can add it to their TBR lists if they like your teaser.

Great choice for this week's teaser!
Sounds like an old-time book.
Thanks for stopping by earlier!
