SCAM artist alert

Apparently there is someone calling themself "Luigi Calloway" out there who is claiming to be associated with the Mount TBR Reading Challenge. He is contacting authors and telling them if they pay him, then their books will be used for the challenge. It's possible he's also telling people they must pay to participate in any way. Please know that there is absolutely no charge associated in any way with this reading challenge and that this person does not represent me or anything associated with my blog. There will NEVER be a reason for anyone to have to pay for participation in any way for any of my challenges. If only people who exert this much time and effort on scamming people would put it into something worthwhile....like reading their own books!

Saturday Snapshot: August 20

Saturday Snapshot is a meme hosted by Alyce at At Home with Books. All you have to do is "post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken and then leave a direct link to your post in the Mr. Linky on [her] blog. Photos can be old or new, and be of anything as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give is up to you." All she asks is that you don't just post random photos that you find online. (Click pictures for close-ups.)

These are from a family vacation in June of 2007. We went to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky. Were my guys thrilled and excited by the humongous underground cavern? Maybe a little. But what they really liked....was a Dinosaur Park in the nearby town.

Haha! Love that last shot! My kids would have been the same way I'm sure.

Love it! We'd probably have those exact pictures.

Laughed out loud at the last shot-great photos! Nearly as good as the one I have in my possession and which I am currently setting up for next week (nudge, nudge, wink, wink!)

I love this -- it reminds me of kids playing with the boxes after they open their presents. Nature gives you these amazing caves, and the dinosaur park is the fun part. So fun -- great pics!
