Teaser Tuesdays

MizB of Should Be Reading hosts Teaser Tuesdays. Anyone can play along. Just do the following:

*Grab your current read.Link*Open to a random page.
*Share two "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page.

*BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! You don't want to ruin the book for others.
*Share the title and author too, so other TT participants can add it to their TBR lists if they like your teaser.

Here's mine from Titanic 2012 by Bill Walker (p. 133):

Aside from the fact that nothing I wrote inspired me, I was haunted by what happened with Maddy on the Boat deck. She'd even invaded my dreams, my waking time disturbed by vague feelings and images I could no longer clearly recall.

Be watching this blog on April 24th for my review of Titanic 2012 as part of the Partners in Crime Blog Tour!

Those kind of feelings drive you nuts. You just can't get away from them. Good Teaser

Here are two lines from Persuasion by Jane Austen:

"You will stay, I am sure; you will stay and nurse her," cried he, turning to her and speaking with a glow; and yet a gentleness, which seemed almost restoring the past. --She coloured deeply; and he recollected himself, and moved away.
