It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a bookish meme hosted by Book Journey. It's where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It's a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list. So hop on over via the link above and join in...and leave a comment here so I can check out what you are reading.

Books Read Last Week (click on titles for review):
The Lost Art of Reading: Why Books Matter in a Distracted Time by David L Ulin
The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox by Maggie O'Farrell
Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen

Currently Reading:
Oscar Wilde & the Vampire Murders by Gyles Brandreth: opens in 1890, at a glamorous party hosted by the Duke and Duchess of Albemarle. All of London’s high society—including the Prince of Wales—are in attendance at what promises to be the event of the season. Yet Oscar Wilde is more interested in another party guest, Rex LaSalle, a young actor who claims to be a vampire. But the entertaining evening ends in tragedy when the duchess is found murdered—with two tiny puncture marks on her throat. Desperate to avoid scandal and panic, the Prince asks Oscar and his friend Arthur Conan Doyle to investigate the crime. What they discover threatens to destroy the very heart of the royal family. Told through diary entries, newspaper clippings, telegrams, and letters, Oscar Wilde and the Vampire Murders is a richly atmospheric mystery that is sure to captivate and entertain

Books that spark my interest:
The House of Paper by Carlos Maria Dominguez
The Secret of Lost Things: A Novel by Sheridan Hay
The Savage Garden by Mark Mills
Seven Gothic Tales by Isak Dinesen

Oh-The Lost Art of Reading looks interesting! You have a good variety on your list. I can't wait to read like a fiend this summer! No papers to grade for 8 weeks!

I've added the Lost Art of Reading to my ever growing wishlist.

I celebrated 24 years of keeping a book diary. The flu kept me from reading at my usually insane pace but I did finish some books. Come see what they were.

I keep thinking that I have The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox lying around the house somewhere and I know I don't. I've got it confused with something else. One day I will read it though!
