MY READER'S BLOCK: Bout of Books 2016

Apparently there is someone calling themself "Luigi Calloway" out there who is claiming to be associated with the Mount TBR Reading Challenge. He is contacting authors and telling them if they pay him, then their books will be used for the challenge. It's possible he's also telling people they must pay to participate in any way. Please know that there is absolutely no charge associated in any way with this reading challenge and that this person does NOT represent me or anything associated with my blog. I DO NOT endorse anything that he claims.There will NEVER be a reason for anyone to have to pay for participation in any way for any of my challenges. If only people who exert this much time and effort on scamming people would put it into something worthwhile....like reading their own books!

Bout of Books 2016

I'm hoping that now that the academic year is over things will calm down and I can get a good bout of book-reading done this week (and in the weeks to come). That's why I'm signing up for the annual Bout of Books Read-a-Thon. Below is the scoop from the fine folks who organize this reading extravaganza each year. If you'd like to join us, then you need to sign up by Tuesday night.

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 9th and runs through Sunday, May 15th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. Bev Hankins said...: So...I got totally derailed on this. I actually finished three books during the week, but didn't do any check-ins, or daily challenges, or anything. So, I guess we'll mark this read-a-thon down as a failed experiment this year....; May 16, 2016 at 8:54 PM
