This morning, at the corner of Friedrichstrasse and Jagerstrasse, I saw two men, SA men, unscrewing a red Der Sturmer showcase from the wall of a building. Der Sturmer is the anti-Semitic journal that's run by the Reich's leading Jew-baiter, Julius Streicher.

Hi Bev,
I wasn't too sure about your lines this week and whether they would make me want to carry on reading.
I am not generally overstruck by war books, which is what I assumed it was.
I was intrigued enough however, to take a look at the full synopsis and must admit that my mind was changed immediately, and it is already on my wish list.
So, first lines in this case were not great for me, but they were deceptive, as the book sounds like a riveting read and a great find.
