This is the third year for The Christmas Spirit Challenge hosted by The True Book Addict at its own dedicated site. I had a great time with this last year...and it really helped me get into the Christmas spirit, so I'm going to join in again.
For full details, hop on the link above and check out the challenge site. In short, to participate in the main challenge you have to read Christmas books...no kid's books. There are additional challenges for film lovers (Fa La La Films) and for children's books (Visions of Sugar Plums), but you must complete a level of the main challenge to participate. The challenge will run from November 21st to January 6th. The levels are:
Candy Cane: read one book
Mistletoe: read two-four books
Christmas: read five or six books
I'm signing up for the Mistletoe level. I'll list books read below, with review links and dates as they come along.
1. Corpus Christmas by Margaret Maron (11/25/11)
2. More Holmes for the Holidays by various (edited by Greenburg, Lellenberg & Waugh) [12/7/11]
3. The Life & Adventures of Santa Claus by L. Fank Baum (12/10/11)
4. A Christmas Guest by Anne Perry (12/13/11)

Stopping by to welcome you to the challenge. We're officially at (or a little past) go time! Happy Christmas reading! Of course, you get started whenever you can. I know you're going through a difficult time right now. So sorry to hear about your grandfather. Keeping you in my thoughts. <3
Thank you, Michelle.
