CMash Loves to Read has hooked up with
Gina from Hott Books to offer those of us with Challenge Addiction a place to proudly declare our problem and to even be rewarded for it.
They are challenging each of us who can also say that we are a Reading Challenge Addict. They'll be giving away quarterly prizes and recognizing those who are meeting their own expectations by completing the challenges they've entered.

How addicted are you? How many Challenges have you signed up for?
Easy as Pie: 1-5 Challenges (Entered & Completed)
On the Roof: 6-10 Challenges (Entered & Completed)
In Flight: 11-15 Challenges (Entered & Completed)
Out of This World: 16+ Challenges (Entered & Completed)
RULES: It's not meant to be a difficult challenge, actually, it's going to be very simple! This challenge will begin on January 1, 2011 and end on December 31, 2011. Write a starting post joining the challenge and outlining your challenges. Track all of your challenge accomplishments - good & bad.
So far I am participating in fourteen challenges...that puts me initially at the In Flight level. Knowing me, I'll probably wind up in Out of This World before too long. I will list the challenges below and give the link for my tracking post for each challenge (that will be easier for me than listing all the books here). Click on the challenge title to go to tracking site. When I have completed a challenge I will mark it as complete with the date (and possible change it's color, I like to do easy artsy-craftsy stuff like that).

***Note to Followers: It has been determined by an outside source that this does not count as a new reading challenge since I will be adding no new books to my challenge lists. Therefore, there will be no slapping.
***Addendum: I've updated and added a few more "real" challenges. I'm braced for the onslaught of slapping.....Just goes to show how really addicted I am.
***Second Addendum: Just upgraded to Out of This World. Can't resist those challenges....
Bev:
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are joing us. I hope that you saw what I posted today on the site. Not only is it a extra oooomph to complete our challenges but have lots of fun too. Asyou will come to know, Gina and I like to tease each other, all in fun..so please feel to jump right in especially if it on a day that Gina is under the bus, other wise, if its me...well that's just elderly abuse lol. Oh and btw..I used up all my remaining gray matter thinking of this chalenge just for the slap and you go and change the rules....lol. Stop by often!!! And Gl with your challenges!!
Oh, I'm sure there will be more slapping opportunities in the future. There are about three (I think) that are currently calling my name (I can't hear you. La-la-la-la.) And I think I mentioned that Birth Year Challenge that's supposed to be in the works.
ReplyDeleteBWHAHAHAHAHAHA
ReplyDeleteI love the "note to followers". You crack me up! I may have to join this non-Challenge as well. I'm not participating in 12 challenges, but I think I've got as many as I can handle with my other commitments. *sigh* LOL
Hi Bev,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up on this challenge. I am truly a reading challenge addict. I've signed up of course. Have a great day!
