Mystery Lover...but overall a very eclectic reader. Will read everything from the classics to historical fiction. Biography to essays. Not into horror or much into YA. If you would like me to review a book, then please see my stated review policy BEFORE emailing me. Please Note: This is a book blog. It is not a platform for advertising. Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.
If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
Ah, you should have bolted with the Stacy Schiff! I had far more fun with it than I did with The Mischief of the Mistletoe, though I can't wait to read The Orchid Affair! The Mendelssohn CD looks fantastic - I hope my library has a copy!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your loot!
The X Chromosome controls our lives? Now I'm intrigued. Hey, there's an X in Emanuel Ax too! Happy reading and listening.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have signed up for a squillion book challenges. I'm worried because I signed up for four, plus the other challenges i have given myself.
ReplyDeleteI am bestowing on you a blogger award. Check it out over at My Head is Full of Books

I like the sound of Publish and be Murdered and also your op shop find!
ReplyDeleteThe X in Sex sounds like a very interesting read. I look forward to your review of that if you get to it. And I love the sound of Publish and Be Murdered and will go and see what that's about on Amazon. Nice haul!
