It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a bookish meme hosted by Book Journey. It's where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It's a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put some new titles on lyour reading list. So, hop on over via the link above and join in...and leave a comment here so I can check out what you're reading.
Books Read Last Week (click on titles for review):
The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop by Lewis Buzbee
Shroud of Darkness by E. C. R. Lorac
The Trail of the Red Diamonds by L. Ron Hubbard
The Girl in Blue by P. G. Wodehouse
Currently Reading:
Eight White Nights by Andrew Aciman (from the book flap) ...is an unforgettable journey through that enchanted terrain where passion, fear, and the sheer craving for love and to show love can alter who we are. A man in his late twenties attends a large Christmas party in Manhattan, where a woman introduces herself with three words: "I am Clara." Over the following seven days, they meet every evening at the same cinema. Overwhelmed yet cautious, he treads softly and won't hazard a move. The tension between them builds gradually, marked by ambivilance, hope and distrust. As Andre Aciman explores their emotions with uncompromising accuracy and sensuous prose, they move both closer together and further apart, culminating in a final scene on New Year's Eve charged with magic and the promise of renewal.
Books that spark my interest:
The Woman in Black by Susan Hill (Gothic Reading Challenge)
Behold, Here's Poison by Georgette Heyer (Heyer Challenge)
The Last Defender of Camelot by Roger Zelazny (TBR Challenge)
Blood Upon the Snow by Hilda Lawrence (Off the Shelf Challenge)
Currently reading the same book I started last week - "Red Station" by Adrian Magson - spy thriller. Life has been hectic so I'm only getting to read a few pages when I climb into bed, then I fall asleep on the book! ;-p

Thank you for visiting my It's Monday post - I hope that my Mansfield Park review did not reveal to much - I try to avoid spoilers but if it comes to Jane Austen there is not much to spoil I think.. ;")
