  1. I submit The Crouching Beast for the category 'History Mysteries'. It does not *quite* meet the 15-year requirement, however, being set in 1914, which is only 14 years prior to publication (1928). However, this book is set in Germany and fully describes the runup to World War I and the various conflicts in the European nations involved.

  3. My Locked Rooms submission is The Secret of the Conrad Door, which is a story contained in Masterstrokes of Crime Detection by Lassiter Wren (1929).

  4. My Mystery By Any Other Name submission is The Saint Bids Diamonds by Leslie Charteris (1937), also published as Thieve's Picnic.

Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.

If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
