Mystery Lover...but overall a very eclectic reader. Will read everything from the classics to historical fiction. Biography to essays. Not into horror or much into YA. If you would like me to review a book, then please see my stated review policy BEFORE emailing me. Please Note: This is a book blog. It is not a platform for advertising. Please do NOT contact me to ask that I promote your NON-book websites or products. Thank you.

Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.
If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
Good to know -- thanks, Bev. I'm sure I've read a slew of academic mysteries in my time, but can't bring many to mind just yet, so a review will be in order: I shall get my thinkin' cap on and try to find something beyond Edmund Crispin and Josephone Tey to pitch in with...!
ReplyDeleteJJ: Glad you'll be joining us for this one!
ReplyDeleteWell you'll certainly be in your element this month! Coincidentally, (second time this happened this year) I'm on the last couple of chapters of a 1929 book with a collegiate theme. So like you always seem to be doing I've nailed two blog memes with a single book.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I was working on a meaty article for CADS about college professors who moonlighted as pseudonymous mystery writers. So I'll adapt and edit portions of that for the entire month...unless I stumble across some more suitable books to fit the academic theme.
Yay, John! Glad you'll be along with us. And, yes, this, indeed, part of my mystery wheelhouse.
