Mystery Lover...but overall a very eclectic reader. Will read everything from the classics to historical fiction. Biography to essays. Not into horror or much into YA. If you would like me to review a book, then please see my stated review policy BEFORE emailing me. Please Note: This is a book blog. It is not a platform for advertising. Please do NOT contact me to ask that I promote your NON-book websites or products. Thank you.

Embarrassment of Riches: May Check-in
May Check-in
Here I am, hanging my head in shame, to join in the May check-in. Somehow, I managed to totally miss the fact that there were check-ins for any other months....
I signed up for the level below:
Platinum: Read 50 TBR books between Jan 1 and Dec 31 2013
So far, I've managed to read 37 books towards my goal. Even though I'm rapidly gaining on the magic number 50, I've felt like this year of reading and blogging has been off...I'm not getting near as many books read as I planned and my blog posting has fallen off too. That doesn't mean I'm not enjoying my reading, though. I've had some really good reads--Slippage by Harlan Ellison, Corpses at Indian Stones by Philip Wylie, and A Private History of Awe by Scott R. Sanders being the favorites. Here are links to all my reviews:

Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.
If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
