It's Monday! What Are you Reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a bookish meme hosted by Book Journey. It's where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It's a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list. So hop on over via the link above and join in...and leave a comment here so I can check out what you are reading.

Books Read (click on titles for review):
The Penguin Book of Victorian Women in Crime by Michael Sims, ed

Something went wrong with my reading last week....only one book?

Currently Reading:
Not in the Flesh by Ruth Rendell:  After a truffle-hunting dog unearths a human hand instead of a precious fungus, Chief Inspector Wexford and his team proceed to interrogate everyone who lives nearby to see if they can turn up a match for the errant appendage among the eighty-five people who have disappeared over the past decade in this part of England. Then, when a second body is discovered nearby, Wexford experiences a feeling that's become a rarity for the veteran policeman: surprise. As Wexford painstakingly moves to resolve these multiple mysteries, long-buried secrets are brought to daylight.

Books that spark my interest:

Star Trek & Philosophy: The Wrath of Kant by Jason T Eberl & Kevin S Decker (eds)
A Long Fatal Love Chase by Louisa May Alcott
and two Review Request books that I need to get to:
Death in the Memorial Garden by Kathie Deviny
Face of the Enemy by Joanne Dobson & Beverlee Graves Myers

  1. I always love Ruth Rendell--she never disappoints. I've just started reading Kate Morton's The Secret Keeper, but I've also reading the Walking Dead graphic novels for fun.

Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.

If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
