Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.
If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
Bev - Oh, I wasn't familiar with this one, although Palmer's Hildegarde Withers series was a good 'un. I'll be really eager to see what you think of this one when you read it.
ReplyDeleteSounds great Bev - I've a copy of this somewhere too. Palmer did, as I unbderstand, also work in a circus at one point in his colourful career ...
ReplyDeleteI love the cover, because that's what should happen to every clown :-)
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to read some Stuart Palmer books next year ... maybe for the next Vintage Mystery Challenge? AT this point I only have some of the Hildegarde Withers series. This is a nice overview that gets me interested in finding this one.
ReplyDeleteNot read any of Palmer's books! Another name to look for....
