Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.
If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
Never heard of this series. Sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of this series either. Great meme by the way, really makes you read out of your zone.

I've read a couple of Wentworth's and like them, although the plots seem somewhat formulaic. She is great at building suspense and creating menace. Like Miss Marple, she's an implacable adversary. Looking forward to the review.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of her but a governess sounds like a cool sleuth.
ReplyDeletePatricia Wentworth is one of my favorite authors of vintage mystery novels. I have several of them to re-read but haven't read any in a while. Nice overview.
