Saturday Snapshot: October 1
Saturday Snapshot is a meme hosted by Alyce at At Home with Books. All you have to do is "post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken and then leave a direct link to your post in the Mr. Linky on [her] blog. Photos can be old or new, andbe of anything as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give is up to you." All she asks is that you don't just post random photos that you find online. (Click picture for close-up.)
I'm running a bit late on posting this week. But I have a REALLY good excuse. At least all the bibliophiles will think so....
I spent a huge chunk of my day (and an hour last night) at our local Red Cross Book Sale. I came home with 54 new (to me) books. And here I am with my book loot. As my t-shirt says: There is no such thing as too many books....
Woooot!! Those book sales are so much fun but I blame them for the piles of books on the floor and the double stacking in the bookcases. Enjoy all your new books!!
Oh Wow. I think my husband would die if I bought 54 books in one day! I'd have to hide them, and not be out and proud. Glad you can be. What a haul! (BTW I think I fixed the problem with my photos the other day, and they should be visible, I hope they are)
Wow you're right that's a great reason to be late. 54 books!! That's amazing I think I would die and go to heaven to buy that many new to me books in on sitting.
