Saturday Snapshot: October 1
I'm running a bit late on posting this week. But I have a REALLY good excuse. At least all the bibliophiles will think so....
I spent a huge chunk of my day (and an hour last night) at our local Red Cross Book Sale. I came home with 54 new (to me) books. And here I am with my book loot. As my t-shirt says: There is no such thing as too many books....

Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.
If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
54 books! I love that! May you have a grand time reading all those!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Saturday Snapshot post!
Ooh, you must have had so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great haul! I'm going to a book fair tomorrow and I hope I can restrain myself.
ReplyDeleteOMG.....you do have the BEST possible excuse for running late Bev....very fun shot. Enjoy the books.
ReplyDeleteSuch a GREAT reason for posting late in the day! 54 books would overwhelm, but please me :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great picture. And possibly a record number of books in one day!
ReplyDeleteWell done! I hope you enjoy them - and have space for them!! That would be a problem for me - our house is swamped with books :)
ReplyDeleteNow that's my idea of heaven!
ReplyDeleteWoooot!! Those book sales are so much fun but I blame them for the piles of books on the floor and the double stacking in the bookcases. Enjoy all your new books!!
ReplyDeleteI started avoiding book sales because I still have so many good books to read around. Hope you got some great deals and enjoy your new loot!
ReplyDeleteI love the smile on your face and the t-shirt! I hope you love every book you bought!
ReplyDeleteYou're right. Excellent reason to post late. Who cares about blogging when there are books to be read.
ReplyDeleteNice catch! Now the question -- where are you going to put all of them?!
ReplyDelete@smellingcoffee: I'll just add them to the mountain of TBR books in the back room....
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! Love how you're "showing" instead of just telling.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
And thanks for visiting my snapshot post.
Bliss. That smile on your face says it all. Is there anything nicer than contemplating a pile of books to be read?
ReplyDeleteHappiest photo I've seen yet!!
ReplyDeleteJenners: I am one happy little bibliophile.
ReplyDeleteOh Wow. I think my husband would die if I bought 54 books in one day! I'd have to hide them, and not be out and proud. Glad you can be. What a haul!
ReplyDelete(BTW I think I fixed the problem with my photos the other day, and they should be visible, I hope they are)
Wow you're right that's a great reason to be late. 54 books!! That's amazing I think I would die and go to heaven to buy that many new to me books in on sitting.
ReplyDelete54 books! I would be rolling around in them, I would be so happy.
