  2. I read that Millay biography earlier in the year and I really enjoyed it. Also, yay for Wilkie Collins!

  3. Great list, Bev. (I've only read one of them: INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE, which I found boring. But don't let me sway you. :)) I didn't do my own list this week for Top Ten since I'd posted the top 25 books I want to read in a post a couple of weeks ago.

  4. I haven't read any of these, but Savage Beauty sounds good. I was in Maine last summer, and stayed in Camden, Maine, where St. Vincent Millay had lived for awhile. There was a beautiful statute of her looking out over the harbor. It definitely got me interested in her life and work.

  5. Good for you! You set your list and you refuse to let the new books coming out affect it. I wish I were a stronger person....

  6. @Yvette: Interview is only on there because I was fool enough to sign up for the Gothic Challenge...

@Amanda & MJ: I love Millay and can't wait to read this one.

@Deb Nance: It's not hard to avoid the new books coming out.....I'm more of a classic lit kind of person anyway.

  7. I haven't ever read Interview with a Vampire, and I've always thought that maybe I should. I think I started reading it in the eighth grade, but it was a bit too adult.

Come check out my list for the week here.
