Here are my recommendation candidates:
***Extra! I just got reminded of The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery. I loved that book and don't know how I could have forgotten that Katie recommended it to me.
Mystery Lover...but overall a very eclectic reader. Will read everything from the classics to historical fiction. Biography to essays. Not into horror or much into YA. If you would like me to review a book, then please see my stated review policy BEFORE emailing me. Please Note: This is a book blog. It is not a platform for advertising. Please do NOT contact me to ask that I promote your NON-book websites or products. Thank you.
Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.
If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
It sounds like you have good collection of trusted book recommenders!

Oooh, I'm going to read the Jeremy Brett bio for sure! Thanks for the recommend!
ReplyDeleteI've read WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION and loved it. Also THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT TIME. Loved that as well.
I am reading Tuesdays with Morrie out loud to my students right now. Only problem: getting choked up!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard much about Lord of Misrule, expect that it was in the Tournament of Books. It's nice to hear a recommendation.

Oh yes, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. I am constantly telling people to read it. I wonder who told me? Thanks for dropping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteI never thought how much I owe other readers until we were given this prompt. Let's keep sharing good books with each other.
