Wondrous Words Wednesday
7 comments:
Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.
If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!

Wow, I think those are great words, even though I can't pronounce most of them! Thanks for playing along.
ReplyDeleteI think I never read anything about Aborigines, and I didn't know the first two words. The third I knew, but now I am wondering what "anatomical uncle" may mean (or would I rather not know?)
ReplyDeleteI just discovered Ngaio Marsh last year. Great words. Thanks for stopping and commenting at my blog, I look forward to getting to know you. Good luck with admission season.
ReplyDelete@Scribacchina: the uncle is a doctor (just a fancy way of saying he deals with anatomy)
ReplyDeleteI was curious about the anatomical uncle, too. The words are new to me!
ReplyDeleteI like "adze"...it seems like a noise : wind or arrow ?
