Mystery Lover...but overall a very eclectic reader. Will read everything from the classics to historical fiction. Biography to essays. Not into horror or much into YA. Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.
If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
I cry every time I read the scene when Christopher Robin goes off to school and he is saying good-bye to Pooh.
ReplyDeletePoirot and Hastings are a good pair too.
Ooh, Jekyll and Hyde is a good one! Nice list!
ReplyDeleteI just finished Murder on the Orient Express and loved the character of Hercule Poroit.
ReplyDeleteI could have added all the ones you listed, Bev. But we share Holmes and Watson. They show up on almost every list, that's for sure. I often wonder if Conan Doyle is spinning in his grave to think that Holmes and Watson are still so much revered. ;)
ReplyDeleteWe *do* have a few pairs in common, eh? Lord Peter/Bunter/Harriet for the win!
ReplyDeleteThis is a VERY good list! I forgot Nancy Drew!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Top Ten Picks post!
