Theme Thursday: Crockery/Utensil

This week's theme is Crockery/Utensil. Here is mine from The Last Defender of Camelot by Rober Zelazny (p. 11):

The falling star did not burn out. It grew to the size of a dinner plate, a house, and hung in the air, exhaling the souls of suns.

    Wow! I think that would be frightening or beautiful, just depending what kind of mood you were in to start with.

    Never thought that a "dinner plate" could be in the same sentence as "air", "suns" and "star".
