It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a bookish meme hosted by Book Journey. It's where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It's a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list. So, hop on hover via the link above and join in...and leave a comment here so I can check out what you are reading.

Books Read Last Week (click on titles for review):
Colour Scheme by Ngaio Marsh
Leave It to Psmith by P. G. Wodehouse
The Rim of the Pit by Hake Talbot
Elegance by Kathleen Tessaro

Currently Reading:
The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop: a memoir, a history by Lewis Buzbee. I am almost finished with this lovely little book about the author's book-lust, adventures as a book-seller/book rep, and the tidbits of book and book-selling history that he sprinkles throughout.

Books that spark my interest:
Shrouds of Darkness by E. C. R. Lorac (a vintage mystery that fits into several of my challenges)

And a group of "color" books that I've ordered up from the library in consideration for my Color Coded Reading Challenge. (And Gina at Hott Books thought it would be hard to find "color" books...)

Red Harvest by Dashiell Hammett
The Trail of the Red Diamonds by L. Ron Hubbard
Blue Ruin by Grace Livingston Hill
The Girl in Blue by P. G. Wodehouse
Eight White Nights by Andre Aciman

  1. I just read your review of Leave it to PSmith and now have to add that to my ever growing wishlist! If it's as funny and unusual as your review makes it sound, it'll be a nice break from the heavier and non-fiction stuff I've been reading lately.

  3. I've always wanted to read something by Dashiell Hammett...and I see that Grace Livingston Hill book on your list...recently, I reread a few old favorites by her. I don't remember Blue Ruin.

  4. @Laurel-Rain Snow: I didn't remember Blue Ruin either. But when I did a search on the Library online catalogue it came up with that for a title with "blue" in it. I decided to order it up and give it a look-see.

Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.

If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
