A-Z Mystery Author Challenge

Wheee! I'm telling you folks, once you start down that slippery slope of Reading Challenges, if you're not careful, you just keep picking them up and adding them on like a snowball rolling down a hill. That's right, you guessed it--I'm signing up for yet another: The A-Z Mystery Author Challenge sponsored by Michelle at Red Headed Book Child. I've missed the give-away, but that doesn't bother me...the challenge is the thing.

Here are the RULES:

*Challenge runs from January 1 -December 31, 2011. Sign up ends February 1, 2011.
*Read A-I, J-P or Q-Z. You choose. The letter group represents the last name of the author. (i.e. = S for John Sandford).
*Mystery genre can include Cozy, Suspense, Thriller or Noir. All Adult novels please.
*Leave a comment if you want to sign up.
*Write a post about the challenge and which group/s you pick. You can list the authors you choose or do it as you go.
*When you post reviews, mention this challenge and link it to the Review Post.

  2. Have you read any of Ruth Dudley Edwards's Baroness Troutbeck books before? I was so excited when I saw it on your list - I love that series. I was just thinking the other day how much I'd like to read it again.

  3. @Michelle: A lot of these are older mysteries (which I adore).

@Carol: I LOVE the Ruth Dudley Edwards books. I haven't read one in a while and just had to add her when I needed an "E."

You seem to believe that just because I am in NYC for the weekend, I won't come back and pop you one for the *multiple* challenges you've joined. LOL.

Seriously, though, I'm glad you decided to give this one a go!

  5. @Birdie: You missed your chance, girlie. I offered up the cheek and everything (admittedly after ducking, but still.)

Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.

If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
