Teaser Tuesdays

MizB of Should Be Reading hosts Teaser Tuesdays. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

*Grab your current read
*Open to a random page
*Share two "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
*BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
*Share the title & author too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teaser!

  5. Ah, your teaser makes me want to go read the book again. The last time was when I was in high school, and who remembers that far back anyway.

  9. You reminded me of when I felt smart when I read. Maybe it's time I returned to the classic classics.

Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.

If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
