Life has gone off the rails here on the Block. My husband is currently in the critical cardiac unit of a local hospital--waiting on a surgery to install a heart pump. I do plan to host all of my challenges in 2026, but I can't promise how soon I'll get them posted.
Mystery Lover...but overall a very eclectic reader. Will read everything from the classics to historical fiction. Biography to essays. Not into horror or much into YA. Sorry folks, but I have been getting an incredible amount of spam. I have adjusted my settings and all messages will be moderated from now on. If that does not take care of the problem then I will have to go to the "Prove You're Not a Robot" thing--which I hate as much as you do.
If your name does not appear automatically, please tell me your name in the comment. Otherwise you will just show up as "Unknown." Thanks!
I wish you all the best at this worrisome time, Bev!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your husband. I hope and pray everything goes well with the heart pump surgery.
ReplyDeleteTake your time and take care of your family.
ReplyDeletePrayers for you & your husband!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, all! Good news--when the surgeon got in there he found that he was able to do a bypass after all (all scans had indicated that his blockages were too big for that to be an option). So no heart pump needed! This will reduce his recovery time by a lot.
ReplyDeleteVery good news, indeed!
