I LOVE Hawksbill Station, Dying Inside, The World Within, Thorns etc. But this has to be one of the worst from his period of epic production -- late 60s to mid 70s.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5779338627192492408.post-87791300301517459502012-01-16T20:44:16.225-05:002012-01-16T20:44:16.225-05:00When I first started reading your review, I though...When I first started reading your review, I thought: "How bad can it be? - it's time travel - and I could count it for my Time Travel Reading Challenge!" By the time I finished your review, I had changed my mind...I'll have to find something else, I guess. Harlan Ellison and Dan Simmons--I still love. I'm hoping that it's just this book with Silverberg.Bev Hankinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01127476456755776574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5779338627192492408.post-28470007507868342882012-01-16T13:05:27.225-05:002012-01-16T13:05:27.225-05:00Parts of your review made me giggle. :)

But sometimes, it's just that a writer's work changes as well, sometimes evolving, sometimes devolving. Very few writers can sustain the same level of reader-friendliness in numerous titles.

Great review!Julie https://www.blogger.com/profile/01670155947411449802noreply@blogger.com
